Lance Daniel places at College National Finals Rodeo

(Casper, WY) — Former Brave Lance Daniel earned a 12th place finish for the University of West Alabama Tiger rodeo team at the 2018 College National Finals Rodeo June 10-16 at the Casper Events Center in Casper, Wyoming.

Daniel returned to the CNFR for the second straight year as the Ozark Region bull riding champion.

The West Alabama men finished the 2017-18 season sixth in the Ozark Region standings, while the women finished fourth.

Daniel, a junior Engineering Technology Major at UWA, amassed 590 total points during the Ozark season, 250 more than second-place finisher Justin Stoltz of Missouri Valley.

Lance is a a 2014 graduate of Heard High and the son of Jonathan and Sherry McLain.

In addition to his two Ozark Region Championships, his bull riding accolades include a 2013 PCA High School Championship, a 2013 Georgia State Bull Riding Championship, a 10th place finish in the Youth Bull Riders World Finals, and an 8th place finish at the National Junior Bull Riders Association.
