Letter of Support for Russ Massa

To Whom it May Concern:

I am writing this letter today to express my support of Russ Massa for Heard County Commission Chairman.

I first met Russ about 16 years ago when he came to work for me at the Eckerd Drug Corporation. He instantly became one of our most valued employees who could always be counted on for his attention to detail, his ability to work well and lead others, and to think through and overcome the many challenges we were constantly faced with when running a multi-million dollar retail operation.

Russ won numerous awards while employed at the Eckerd Drug Corporation including being named the associate of the year for our entire department.

I left Eckerd about 10 years ago to venture out and start my own residential construction business vowing to bring Russ over to the new company as soon as practical. It was a decision that I certainly do not regret.

In all of my years of dealing with Russ, both personally and professionally, I have always found him to be a man of character and integrity, a man who cares about his family and community, and a man who has a very strong work ethic and is willing to fight for what he believes in.

I firmly believe that all of these traits are needed in order to be an effective leader at any level of professional or public service.

I believe that a vote for Russ will be a vote for someone who is well-qualified, responsible, and willing to objectively listen to all sides in order to effectively manage and grow Heard County in the best interest possible for all its citizens.
