The Heard High School cheerleading squad hosted its first Little Braves Cheer Camp July30-31 at the high school gymnasium. During the two mornings of camp the young ladies from several age groups were able to learn a cheer, a chant, and a dance.
They later performed for their parents at the end of day two of the camp. Instruction was provided by the current varsity cheerleaders and Coach Jennifer Jones.
Each camp participant also received a t-shirt. The campers were also very excited to learn that they will be performing their new routines in front of the Staples Stadium crowd on September 21 prior to the varsity Braves football game versus the Bremen Blue Devils.

The 31 camp participants were: Neveah Bridges, Kendyl Parmer, Betty Covington, Kayla Dee Brown, Alyssa Brown, Hannah Bradley, Abby Neighbors, Kaci and Maci Bates, Naomi Parker, Emily Mock, Beth Moreland, Harley Tucker, Mallory Rae Rose, Brooke and Morgan Milam, Lania Kersey, Emily Head, Florinda Galbreath, Logan Dawson, Brianna Hill, Maggie Googe, Lynsey Glover, Megan Rowland, Hannah Gray, Tyler Gray, Journey Gray, Jordin Copeland, Anna Bay Sowell, Aydin Bougher, and Madison Adams.
