The Heard High School cheerleading squad hosted its first Little Braves Cheer Camp July30-31 at the high school gymnasium. During the two mornings of camp the young ladies from several age groups were able to learn a cheer, a chant, and a dance.
They later performed for their parents at the end of day two of the camp. Instruction was provided by the current varsity cheerleaders and Coach Jennifer Jones.
Each camp participant also received a t-shirt. The campers were also very excited to learn that they will be performing their new routines in front of the Staples Stadium crowd on September 21 prior to the varsity Braves football game versus the Bremen Blue Devils.
“Everything went very well and I want to thank all of the parents for being so supportive of our first camp. I especially want to thank Tara Neighbors and Missy Lee for being such a big help. We look forward to having this camp once again next year!”~ Coach Jennifer Jones.
