(Franklin, GA) — The Heard County Sheriff’s Office and the Heard County Fire & Emergency employees were honored by the delivery of ‘Plates of Love’ on Wednesday, June 24.
The lunch plates were prepared with love by all the members at Heaven Bound Church of God located in Centralhatchee.
Heaven Bound Church of God also presented Heard County Sheriff Office with a thank you poster that stated, “Thank You We Back the Blue” and one with a Police Shield with a cross in the shield that read “The Lord is my strength and my shield; in Him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to Him.” Psalm 28:7.
The posters were signed by all of the church members.
They presented Heard County Fire & Emergency with a thank you poster too that stated, “thank you we appreciate all you do for others” and one with waves of water and fire that read, “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you. And when you pass through the rivers they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire you will not be burned.” Isaiah 43:2.
Pastor Debbie Kendrick of Heaven Bound Church of God stated, “With all the things that are going on in our world today our church family wanted to show love, appreciation and support to these local heroes for their service and loyal dedication to our community. This is not about bringing attention to ourselves, it’s about giving respect, honor and appreciation for all they do.”
