Brian is the son of Brian and Jill Hill of Franklin, GA.

Brian’s peers, the students in the Heard High Class of 2016, chose him for this award.

As a senior, Brian stays busy taking classes at Heard High and at the University of West Georgia as part of the dual enrollment program. Brian plans to attend Georgia Tech in the future.

Each chapter in the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution is allowed to honor one student each year from their community.

We are so pleased to be able to honor Brian Hill this year as the James Stewart Chapter Class of 2016 DAR Good Citizen Award winner from Heard High School.

Brian has chosen to enter the National Society Scholarship Contest and we wish him good luck at every level.

We would like to thank Mrs. Becky Roberts, counselor at Heard High School for her help in making this award possible.

The student selected as the school’s DAR Good Citizen must have the following qualities: Dependability (which includes truthfulness, loyalty, and punctuality); Service (which includes cooperation, courtesy, and consideration of others); Leadership (which includes personality, self-control, and ability to assume responsibility); and Patriotism (which includes unselfish interest in family, school, community, and nation) to an outstanding degree.
