Local Girl Scouts Host Adoption Day

Scouts Animal(Franklin) — Girl Scout Troop 13324 of Franklin recently hosted an “Adoption Day” at Heard County Animal Control near the Sheriff’s Office at 11810 Georgia Hwy 100.

The girl scouts were on hand to answer questions and distributed helpful information about the adoption of cats and dogs, as well as providing important information about strays.

    These girls were so sweet. My son went in when they were there and adopted the sweetest little dog. The girls were very excited to have an adoption take place while they were helping at the shelter. Great job by their troop leaders to show them how to serve in their community.
