Local man life-flighted to Grady following crash

A local man, Kristopher Paschal, is in stable condition at Grady Hospital in Atlanta following head and neck injuries he received in a two-vehicle accident last night.

Trooper First Class Brandon Kight of Georgia State Patrol Post 24 in Newnan, reports that Paschal was at fault in the two-vehicle collision which occurred Sunday evening around 9:15 p.m.

According to the accident report, Paschal was Northbound on HWY 27 near Franklin when he attempted to turn left onto the HWY 34 on ramp.

As Paschal attempted to cross the roadway he was t-boned on the passenger’s side by a southbound 2012 Dodge Ram truck driven by James Sims.

Sims walked away with no injuries.

Paschal is charged with Failure to Yield While Making a Left Hand Turn.
