Local students qualify for Duke TIP Program

(Franklin, GA) — Heard County Schools is pleased to announce the 2020 nominees to the Duke Talent Identification Program.

Duke TIP is a program sponsored by Duke University to provide high achieving 4th and 5th grade students and their families with resources and support.

The criteria for this honor is based upon high scores on the 2019 Georgia Milestones Test.

Students receiving this honor from Centralhatchee Elementary are Makayla Bedley, Riley Harcrow, Jaylen Kim, Helen Butzon, Ollie Clahoun, Tennyson Rice, Ethan Penados-Johnson, Jasmine Kim, Lila Janney, and Levi Miller.

Ephesus Elementary students include Laney Ferguson, Sarah Caouette, and Emma Lawson.

Heard County Elementary TIP program students include Anson Ahlstrom, Joshua Janney, Gracyn Eskew, Kelly Strickland, Allie Brown, Cason Holtzclaw, Pope Phillips, Ben Schory, Jayda Stone, Juliana Flores, Mariana Flores, Logan Shell, Stanley Strickland, Cannon Kohles, Kayden Steele, Tripp Curbow, Fuller Cooper, and Walker Gray.
