Loco Rio Player of the Week (November 22-30)

O-LineThe Loco Rio restaurant names a Heard County Brave each week as the Player of the Week. The Loco Rio Player of the Week for November 22-30, however, is more than just one Brave. The Player of the Week is the Heard High School varsity football starting offensive line.

The Braves offensive line consisting of Jake Edwards, Jace Mock, Dylan Yates, Justin Whitten, and Levi Brown dominated the defensive line of the defending state champion Jefferson Dragons in the heartbreaking 2nd round playoff loss opening huge holes for Duranta Dunson who rushed for 463 yards, a new state playoff record.

Jake, Jace, Dylan, Justin, and Levi will be invited to a special celebration at Loco Rio later in the school year. Congrats to the Braves offensive line on an outstanding season in the trenches.

Loco Rio is located on the square in downtown Franklin. Come by this Saturday night to join in Loco’s first anniversary celebration featuring the Eley Road! (Photo: Hunter Parmer)
