(Franklin) — Heard County Middle School is in the running to be named one of the world’s most innovative schools and we need your support to win!
There’s $200,000 on the line, so keep reading to learn how you can support our school.
Earlier this year, Media Specialist Glovis South entered the Follett Challenge, a program created by Follett to find and reward schools for their work applying technology, content and creativity in ways that engage students, foster literacy and promote critical thinking.
As part of the competition, she created a short video about what makes the media program unique.
To view and vote in the Follett Challenge, go to the media center website (http://bravesread.net) and click on the Follett Challenge banner.
“Thirty percent of the total score is based on how well we spread the word about our video and earn votes,” Mrs. South said.
“You can cast one vote per day from now until March 15. By casting your vote, you’ll help us to spread the word about all the exciting activities going on in our school.”
