A Franklin man, 38-year-old Charles Kizziah, was injured in a single vehicle accident Thursday morning on HWY 34 East near Elm Road.
According to Georgia State Trooper, Ross Buchan, Kizziah was traveling eastbound in a blue 2010 Kia Rio when he fell asleep at the wheel.
He then traveled more than two hundred feet off the roadway hitting a driveway embankment and overturning his vehicle.
Trooper Buchan added that Kizziah was awake and responsive with non-life threatening injuries after being transported to Newnan Piedmont Hospital. He was later transported to Atlanta Medical Center.
