Man, two children killed in fiery Randolph County wreck

(Randolph County, AL) — Two children and one adult were killed early Sunday morning during a single-vehicle crash near the Liberty Grove community in Alabama.

According to a press release from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, the vehicle left the road on AL 48 near County Road 95 sometime around 2:30 AM.

ALEA says that it appears the vehicle was trying to negotiate a turn at a high rate of speed.

The vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree head on — the impact causing the vehicle to catch fire. The vehicle was completely burned.

According to a report today from The Randolph Leader, Randolph County Coroner Terry Sparks identified the victims as Larry Kortex Gamble, 30, of Woodland, Kingston Hezekiah Gamble, 8, of Villa Rica, GA, and Jasmine Kapri Gamble, 4, also of Villa Rica.

Alabama State Trooper Jerome Cofield, Cpl. Brian Merrill and Trooper Todd Jubenville (THI) responded to the scene.
