Master Delfino Arlyn Gosdin , age 14 of Franklin, Georgia passed away at his home on Monday, December 9, 2013.
Funeral services for Master Gosdin were conducted on Thursday, December 12, 2013 at 3:00 P.M. from the Tom Stutts and Son Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Donnie Benifield officiating. Music was provided by Joe Franklin. Those serving as pallbearers were Ricky Heard, Rick Heard, Mitchell Crocker, and Shawn Brown.The interment followed in Heard County Memorial Gardens.
Delino was born on June 24, 1999 in Rome Georgia, and became the beloved son of Winona Moore Gosdin. He was a child who brought great joy to his mother and brothers and sister.
Even though his severe physical handicaps left him unable to do many things he had a life filled with love because of the wonderful care that was extended to him by his mother and family. He was visited regularly by a teacher from Heard County Middle School and enjoyed his time with his teacher. The mark that his life left on all who knew him will long be remembered.
He is survived by his mother Winona Gosdin of Franklin, GA.; one sister Linda Walker of Columbus, GA.; three brothers, Ricky Heard (Lana), Kenneth Heard (Debbie), and Robert Gosdin, all of Franklin, GA.; and a number of adoring nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one dear brother who helped a lot with Delfino’s care, Steve Heard.
