Miss April Shannon Moore, age 23 of LaGrange, Georgia passed away on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at the West Georgia Medical Center.
Funeral services for Miss Moore will be conducted on Thursday, August 23, 2012 at 6:00 P.M. from the Broad Street Church of Christ with Pastor Gary Kirkendall officiating.
The family will receive guests at the church one hour prior to service time. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Troup County Humane Society.
Miss Moore was born in Waukesha, Wisconsin on September 10, 1988, the daughter of Sandra Benner Moore and Robert Allen Moore, Jr. She was a graduate of LaGrange High School and a popular Columbus State University Senior, where she was majoring in education.
She loved children, and it was her desire to improve on the life of each child she taught. She also loved animals, especially the family pets, Penny Lane and Trucks. She was a wonderful dancer and enjoyed teaching children that art form.
April was a beautiful, blond haired, blue eyed girl who lit up any room just by entering it. She was a devoted friend who had great compassion for anyone in need. She was a loving daughter, sister, and granddaughter. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her parents Sandra and Robert Moore of LaGrange, GA.; sister, Alicia Moore of Maui, HI.; one brother, Bobby Moore of LaGrange, GA.; and grandparents, William and Barbara Schult of Sousman, WI.; and Vivian Moore of Palmyra, WI.; and a host of adoring friends.
