Miss Debbie Hogan

Miss Deborah Lynn “Debbie” Hogan, age 59, of McDonough (formerly of Franklin) passed away September 22, 2021.

Her funeral will be held Sunday September 26, 2021 at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Stutts Funeral Home with Rev. Vanessa Milligan officiating. Entombment will be at Upson Memorial Garden in Thomaston on Monday.

The family will accept guests at Stutts Funeral Home Sunday afternoon from 1:00 – 3:00 PM prior to the service.

Miss Hogan was born January 31, 1962 in Atlanta to the late Willie Ernest Hogan and Shirley Ann Prichard. She was Pentecostal by faith.

She devoted her life to the care of her family and loved to spend time with them, especially her son and grandkids. 

She enjoyed going camping and traveling. She also liked to listen to music. A lover of nature, among her passions were flowers and butterflies.

Survivors include: her son, Joshua Hogan (Victoria); grandchildren: Kaden, Jaxen, and Barrett; three sisters: Christy McCrary (Duane), Lisa Tingle (Joel), and Sandra Roberts; five brothers: Billy Hogan (Susan McGowan), Allen McCoy (Julie), Jody McCoy (Nancy), Mike McCoy (Michelle), and Wayne Roberts; aunts, Martha and Lillie; uncles, James Akins and Leroy Hogan; her loving companion, Gary Minnix; and a number of other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by grandparents, James and Mary Akins.
