Mr. Lindsey Alton Stephens, age 70 of Franklin, Georgia passed away at the Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton, Georgia on Wednesday, September 26, 2012.
Funeral services for Mr. Stephens will be conducted on Friday, September 28, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. from the Tom Stutts and Son Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Mark Williams officiating.
The interment will follow in the Centralhatchee First Baptist Church in Franklin, Georgia. The family will receive guests at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 6-8 P.M.
Mr. Stephens was born in Heflin, Alabama on January 1, 1942. He was a Baptist By faith, and worked as a welder in the automotive industry. He was a member of the Golden City Cruisers car club, in Villa Rica, Georgia. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Gloria Stephens, three daughters, Teresa Stephens Shelnutt, Kristie Stephens, and Cheryl Stephens; two sons, Michael Stephens and Kevin Stephens; all of Franklin, Georgia; one sister, Mary Hobgood (Tom) of Loganville, Georgia; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
