Mr. Billy Scarborough, III

Mr. Billy Rogers Scarborough, III, age 17 of Franklin, Georgia passed away suddenly on the evening of August 13, 2011 from the results of an automobile accident.

Funeral services for Mr. Scarborough will be conducted at an undetermined time on Thursday, August 18, 2011 at his home at 1333 Hull Road, Franklin, Georgia 30217. The interment will follow in the family cemetery on the Scarborough property.

A visitation will be held Wednesday evening, August 17, 2011 from 5-8 P.M. at the Tom Stutts and Son Funeral Home. Mr. Scarborough was born on July 9, 1994 in Villa Rica, Georgia, the son of Crissy Lee Edwards and Billy Rogers Scarborough, Jr.

He spent the last year in school at Randolph County High School but returned to Heard County Comprehensive High School where he was a popular junior. As an avid sports enthusiast he was on the football, wrestling, and weight lifting teams.

He was a Christian by faith, and enjoyed attending Veal Baptist Church. “BJ” was a blessing to all who knew him. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his mother, Crissy Edwards of Villa Rica, GA.; father and step mother, Billy Scarborough, Jr. and Brenda Parker of Franklin, GA.; grandmother, Sue Scarborough of Franklin, GA.; five sisters, Michelle and Nicole Patrick of Villa Rica, GA., Sabrina Scarborough of Ellijay, GA., and Heather and Christina Parker of Franklin, GA.; one brother, Austin Scarborough of Villa Rica, GA.; the love of his life, Becky Simpson of Wedowee, AL.; a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins; and a host of adoring friends.

In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.

Tom Stutts and Son Funeral Home of Franklin, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.

  1. Billy Was A Great Person. He Always Made Sure Everyone Was Laughing. I Remember We Would Always Get Into Trouble In Mr. Peters Class. I Love You Billy. RIP! <3
