Mr. Brandon Lee McClure

Mr. Brandon Lee McClure, King B, age 34, of Tallapoosa, GA passed away peacefully August 31, 2019 after winning his valiant battle against cancer.

He was born December 17, 1984 in Atlanta, GA. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, David and Clara McClure and Barbara and Hoyt Finley.

Brandon was an inspiration and loved by all who were lucky enough to know him.

He never let his limitations slow him down. He lived more actively from his wheel-chair than most do on two feet.

Words will never be able to describe Brandon’s love for his family. Just as swiftly as Brandon would tell you how he really felt about something, he was equally quick to let you know of the love he had for his family. He family was dear to his heart, and he was certain to make that known.

Brandon was a connoisseur of many sports. His passion was strong, and his loyalty was deep. He was certainly one of the Georgia Bulldogs biggest fans. His high school alma mater, the Haralson County Rebels, followed close behind as he rarely missed a football or basketball game.

Brandon was also well known as one of the biggest wrestling fans in West Georgia and has attended numerous events throughout his adult life. He was also an avid supporter of drag racing with Johnny Pilcher and Marcus Birt being two of his favorite drivers.

Aside from the fact that Brandon met his look-a-like Dale Earnhardt, Jr, we can be comforted by the knowledge that Brandon has already challenged Dale Earnhardt, Sr, to a Pearly Gates 500.

Brandon brought love, joy and smiles to everyone he encountered. To know him was to love him and it is amazing to think of the lives he has truly touched and the people that were changed because of him.

Brandon loved Jesus but he cussed a little.

Brandon is survived by his parents, Randy and Denise McClure; brother, Christopher McClure and niece, Ansley Keever all of Tallapoosa.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 1, 2019 at 4:00 PM from Miller Funeral Home Dogwood Chapel with Rev. John Lee and Rev. Josh Smith officiating. Gentlemen serving as pallbearers will be Jamie Moreen, Brandon Wood, Paul Harvell, Taylor Windom, Brian Finley, Brian Alexander, Randy Patterson and Danny Kiker.
