Mr. Buck Gosdin

Mr. Eneas Hulett “Buck” Gosdin, age 81 of Woodland, Alabama passed away at his home on October 24, 2012.

Funeral services for Mr. Gosdin will be conducted on Friday, October 26, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. Easter Standard Time at the Grayhill Church of God with the Reverends Mark Moore, Phillip Jones, and Pat Gosdin officiating. The interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Gosdin was born in Randolph County, Alabama, the son of the late Ila Butler Gosdin and Hayden Gosdin. He was employed by the General Motors Company for many years after which he opened the  Gosdin Moument Company.

He was a faithful member of the Grayhill Church of God. “Mr. Buck” was a favorite among all who knew him. He was a loving father, and grandfather. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by two sons, Randy Gosdin, and Rex Gosdin (Susan) all of Woodland, AL.; five sisters, Bartha Smith of LaGrange, GA., Snoble Akins of Franklin, GA., Winniefred Arrington of Woodland, AL., Reba Brown of Woodland, AL., Marvolene Spradlin of LaGrange, GA., and Molly Arrington of Phoenix City, AL.; five grandchildren, Danyel Earl of Bowdon, GA., Ryan Gosdin of Raleigh, NC., Sara Gosdin of LaGrange, GA., Shea Gosdin of Woodland, AL., and Jeremy Gosdin who spent the last two years caring for his grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Sara Elizabeth Gore Gosdin.
