Mr. Clarence Harrison

2788028The Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Clarence Harrison of Franklin was held Saturday, November 1, 2014 at 11:00AM at the Mount Zion Community Church in Franklin. Rev. Reginald Coleman officiated and burial was in the Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Harrison, a native of Troup County, was born April 18, 1956 and was the son of the late Bertha C. Harrison and John W. Fanning.

He was was previously employed with Milliken and Company, Signal Apparel, and Southern Mills Inc. He was a member and Assistant Chairman of the Deacon Board of Mount Zion Community Church.

He enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles, racing, traveling, playing billiards, and working as a mechanic and doing various outdoor activities. His favorite pastime was spending time with his family, closest friends, and members of the community.

He is survived by his loving wife, Judy A. Harrison; beloved children: Clarence S. Harrison (Michelle), Reshantial A. Berryman, Justin C. Harrison, Anthony I. Pearson; grandchildren: Phillip T. Parson, Genesis A. Berryman, Koren T. Berryman, and Sidney M. Berryman; six sisters: Carrie Mays (Randy), Marian Reid (Felton), Mary A. Reid, Sandra Snellings (Felix), Joann Simpson (Rev. Allen), Johnny Mae Smith; seven brothers: Jerry Harrison, Paul Reid, Kenneth Wilder, Deon Jackson, J. C. Thomas (Carol), Richard Fanning, Eugene Harrison; several aunts, uncles, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Promise A. Harrison; sister, Bertha C. Dean; and brother, Robert L. Harrison.

Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home of Lagrange was in charge of the arrangements.

    • Very True Cliff! Many times he went out the way to help me doing work around the house and farm. My prayers to his wonderful family. I will miss hearing his stories about the accomplishments and love for his family.
