Mr. Clifford Henry Jiles, Sr.

Mr. Clifford H. Jiles, Sr., age 90, of Carrollton, Georgia passed away Saturday, March 14, 2020.

Mr. Jiles was born in Carrollton, Georgia on December 18, 1929, the son of the late Rev. Williams C. Jiles and Eliza Jiles.

He was a truck driver for ABF Freight Lines for over 28 years and was a member of Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #1237 and West Carrollton Baptist Church.

Mr. Jiles loved to spend his time hunting, working on cars, and skeet and trap shooting, as well as watching westerns and watching the Atlanta Braves play baseball.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Barbara Jiles; sons and daughters-in-law, Rance and Karen Jiles, Cliff and Patty Jiles, Jr., Keith and Wendy Harper, Craig and Tammie Harper; daughters and sons-in-law, Ophelia and Bo Gaskin, Susie and Rob Sigg and LaDeena and Joey Morrow; 31 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by Peggy McKenzie, Nywanna White, Jason Jiles and Baby Jiles.

The family will receive friends at Almon Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Almon Funeral Home with Rev. Hubert Carroll and Rev. John Powers officiating.

Pallbearers will be Joe Faulkner, Matt Stephens, Kota Gaskin, Logan Harper, Tyler Harper, Austin Harper, Colson Jiles and Drid Harper.

Interment will be in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery.
