Mr. Frank Anthony Delano, Jr., age 74, of Franklin passed away April 9, 2017.
Mr. Delano was born November 4, 1942 in Camden, New Jersey to the late Frank Anthony Delano, Sr. and Eva Alice Kuckinsky Delano. He was a Christian by faith.
He served his country with distinction during the Vietnam Conflict as a Staff Sergeant in the US Army. For his service he was awarded the Army Commendation Medal.
After leaving the Army he worked as a store manager for Winn-Dixie Supermarkets, and retired after many years of dedicated service.
His most precious moments were times spent with his family, especially his grandchildren. His family loved him, and he loved his family even more as a husband, father, and grandfather.
In his spare time, he liked to work outdoors doing yard work and landscaping. He had a special place in his heart for his dog, Coco, and his goats, Leroy and Ellie.
He also liked to go to casinos, especially the Wind Creek Casino. His favorite card game was poker, and he had a pretty good poker face.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Delano of Franklin; three daughters, Pamela Poulos (Eric) of Franklin, Christina Scarfo of New Jersey and Kathy Starnes (Jimmy) of LaGrange; two sons, Phillip Scarfo, Jr. (Lori) of New Jersey and Ben Baldwin (Tammy) of Franklin; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one sister, Bert Designer of New Jersey; and other relatives and friends.
