Mr. Michael Cook

Mr. Michael Scott Cook, age 47 of Franklin, Georgia passed away at his home on Tuesday, August 2, 2011.Funeral services for Mr. Cook were conducted on Friday, August 5, 2011, at 4:00 P.M. from the Tom Stutts and Son Funeral Home in Franklin, Georgia with the Reverend Lynn Janney officiating.

The interment followed in the Prospect Church Cemetery. Music was provided by Leesa Stutts Cothran. Those serving as pallbearers were Jeff Cook, Greg Cook, Clint Mitchell, Keith Laws, Chris Laws, and Marvin McCormick.

Mr. Cook was born in Franklin, Georgia on August 5, 1963, the son of Mitchell Cook and the late Helen Louise Nipper Cook. He was a Christian by faith. He was an employee of the Piedmont Mechanical Company, where he was a welder. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his father, Mitchell Cook of Franklin, GA.; one sister Lorraine Cook of Roanoke, AL.; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Mark and Cindy Cook, and Mickey and Melea Cook all of Franklin, GA; several nieces and nephews; and a number of cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Cook.
