Mr. Phillip D. Momman

Mr. Phillip D. Momman, age 53, of Franklin, GA passed away Sunday August 23, 2015 at Tanner Medical Center.

Mr. Momman was born February 4, 1962 in Heard County, GA to the late Junior Momman and Elenor Joyce Smith Momman. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved to tinker with cars, trucks and tractors. One of his favorite pastimes was watching NASCAR.

He was employed by the Heard County Board of Commissioners as a member of the road crew. A Christian by faith, he was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.

Funeral services for Mr. Momman were conducted Wednesday August 26, 2015 at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Tom Stutts & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Lynn Janney officiating.

Serving as pallbearers were Kenny Summerlin, Dale Holmes, Paul Momman, Brian Johnson, Tyron Kitchens, David Momman, and Eric Olah. The interment followed in the Glenloch Baptist Church Cemetery.

Survivors include: his wife, Mary Alice Momman of Franklin; two sons: Daniel Momman and Dustin Momman both of Franklin; two grandsons: Dawson Momman and Hunter Momman of Franklin; three sisters: Debbie Summerlin (Kenny) of Centralhatchee; Sherry Kitchens (Tyron) of Centralhatchee; and Paula Holmes (Dale) of Valley, AL; and a number of other relatives and friends.

Tom Stutts & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
