Mr. Randy Bohannon

Bo 2Mr. Randy Willis “Bo” Bohannon, age 62 of Whitesburg passed away on Monday, October 13, 2014 at the Carrollton Nursing and Rehab Center.

Memorial services for Mr. Bohannon will be conducted on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at 11:30 A.M. from the Lowell Congregational Holiness Church with Reverend Pete Collins and Pastor Charles Smith officiating.

Mr. Bohannon was born in Carrollton, Georgia, on August 9, 1952, the only child of the late Essie Fuller Bohannon and Cecil Eugene Bohannon. Until his retirement he was a distributions manager for the Atlanta Journal and Constitution.

“BO” was a fun loving family man who loved fast cars, and motor cycles, so much so that in his younger years he actually did a lot of drag racing. He loved animals, especially his dog “Fred.”

He was an avid gun collector but only enjoyed shooting for fun not to kill anything. He enjoyed playing bingo at the Franklin American Legion. People were his greatest past time. He enjoyed making all in his presence laugh. His family was the utmost of importance to him. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa McCormick Bohannon of Whitesburg, GA.; one daughter, Celeta McCormick (Jamie) also of Whitesburg, GA.; four sons, Brian Bohannon (Amanda) of Carrollton, GA., Robert Driver of Ephesus, GA., Thomas Driver (Jessica) of Carrollton, GA., and Matt Driver of Fruit Hurst, AL.; mother-in-law, Lilly Bell McCormick of Carrollton, GA.; and five grandchildren.

Other than his parents he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Reverend Junior McCormick.
