Mr. Randy Pike

Mr. Randy Carl Pike, age 62, of Carrollton passed away Monday October 30, 2017.

Funeral services for Mr. Pike will be conducted Wednesday November 1, 2017 at 2:00 PM from Harmony United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ellis Freeman presiding. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will accept guests at Stutts Funeral Home Tuesday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 PM.

Mr. Pike was born June 30, 1955 in Heard County to the late Amos Pike and Nellie Mozelle Holcomb Pike. He was a member of Harmony United Methodist Church.

After graduating from Heard County High School, he served eight years in the US Navy. Most of his time in service was aboard the USS Independence.

He worked as a die repair technician for Bonnell Aluminum in Newnan. He was a dedicated employee and retired after 31 years of service.

His spare time was dedicated to spending time with his family, whom he dearly loved. He was especially proud of his grandchildren. He loved to get the family together for food and fellowship. Having the family along on fishing trips gave him great joy.

His favorite past times were listening to classic rock and watching sports on television. He was an avid fan of the Georgia Bulldogs.

Survivors include one daughter, Lori Adair (Justin) of Carrollton; one son, Joshua Pike (Katherine) of Carrollton; four grandchildren, Miley, Evie, Charlotte, and Zackary, affectionately known as “Butters”; the mother of his children, Annie Pike; three sisters, Rebecca Jones (James), Renae Dye (Randy), and Traci Towler (Randall); two brothers, Larry Pike (Kathy) and Dennis Pike; and a host of other relatives and friends.
