Mr. Ray Gibbs Foreman, age 64 of Carrollton, Georgia formerly of Franklin, Georgia passed away on September 16, 2012.
A memorial service for Mr. Forman will be held on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at 5:00 P. M. from the Tom Stutts and Son Funeral Home in Franklin, Georgia with the Reverends Gene Bonner, and Doug Porter officiating, and Terry Harper Speaking.
Mr. Foreman was born in Athens, Georgia on September 28, 1947, the son of the late Sara Higginbotham Forman and Earnest Paul Forman. He was a welder and Millwright. When his health permitted he was active at the Centralhatchee Independent Methodist Church. He was an avid outdoors man, and he especially loved fishing.
“Mr. Ray” loved softball and was a coach for many teams, among them the Georgia Rednecks of Carrollton. His active involvement with these young people helped to develop life skills as well as technique that will be used for a lifetime. He was a beloved father. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by two daughters, Deborah Foreman of Atlanta, GA., and Katie Foreman of Carrollton, GA.; one son, Patrick Foreman also of Carrollton, GA.; one brother, Jimmy Foreman of Atlanta, GA…
