Mr. Thomas Bailey

Mr. Thomas Robert Bailey, age 27 of Nashville, Tennessee, formerly of Roopville, Georgia passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2016.

Mr. Bailey was born in Carrollton, Georgia on September 8, 1989, the beloved son of Cynthia Faye Bolton Bailey and Curtis Dean Bailey. He was a member of Glenloch Baptist Church.

He enjoyed sports, playing baseball from elementary school through high school. He was also a big football fan, and especially enjoyed watching the Georgia Bulldogs play! Camping and fishing were also favorite activities for him. Music of all kinds gave him great joy!

After high school at Oak Mountain Academy he began his career as a Chef, sending him to Nashville, Tennessee. He was a kind, gentle, and caring young man who believed you should respect all people, and offer help to those in need.

His family and friends were so dear to him, as he was to them. The love and joy he offered, and the impact he made on all who knew him will forever dwell with them.

He is survived by his parents, Dean and Cindy Bailey of Roopville, GA.; brother Chris Bailey of Nashville, TN.; grandmother, Janice Bolton, of Valley, AL.; and several adoring aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ruth and R. L. Bailey, and George Bolton.

A memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, January 7, 2017, 7:00 P.M. from the Stutts Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin, Georgia. The family will receive guests two hours prior to service time.
