Mr. Willard Cape

Mr. Willard Max Cape, age 80, of Franklin passed away June 11, 2021.

He was born January 20, 1941 to Jessie James Cape and Ada Jae Hicks Cape. He was a Baptist by faith.

He was retired from Wal-Mart where he was a manager in the shipping and receiving department.

Working outdoors was one of his favorite pastimes. He always took pride in having a well-trimmed front yard. He also enjoyed going fishing.

When it came to traveling he loved the beach, especially Panama City. In addition he liked to go to flea markets. It was said that he could find the best bargains around.

One of his favorite foods was Mexican. He always ordered fajitas. He was also a passionate fan of the Atlanta Braves and rarely missed a game on TV.

Above all he loved his family and loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Myrna Cape of Franklin; two daughters, Becky Cochran (Cassie Lakus) and Paula Coker (Corey) both of Franklin; one son, Jeff Cape (Tammy) of Luthersville; one granddaughter, Tasha Piper; two great-grandchildren, Savannah and Brooklyn Piper; three sisters, one brother, and a number of other relatives and friends.
