Mrs. Bea Johnson Prince

Mrs. Allie Bea Johnson Prince, age 95 of Franklin, Georgia passed away at the Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton, Georgia on Wednesday, January 4, 2012.

Funeral services for Mrs. Prince were conducted Saturday, January 7, 2012, at 2:00 P.M. from the Centralhatchee Independent Methodist Church with the Reverend Eric Jackson officiating. Music was provided by the Prince Family.

Those serving as pallbearers were Marty Prince, Allen Prince, Todd Turner, Andy Lovern, Matt Milam, and Mike Lavoie. The interment followed in the Centralhatchee Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Prince was born on September 25, 1916, the daughter of the late William Dempsey Johnson and Leola Victoria Truitt Johnson. She was a Methodist by faith.

Mrs. Prince retired from The Uniroyal Manufacturing Company in Hogansville, Georgia. “Miss Bea” was a lady who loved adventure. She enjoyed being with her children, and was ready to head for the car when anyone mentioned going to town.

Her wonderful spirit and loving heart made her a favorite of all who knew her. She was a wonderful mother, and grandmother who opened her door to all who would enter, and many times offered them one of her wonderful meals. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Martha Prince, and Sandra and Doug Nolen, all of Franklin, GA.; daughter-in-law, Lutrell Prince of Carrollton, GA.; six grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Albert Glenn Prince, Sr.; son, Albert Glenn Prince, Jr.; and son-in-law, Ellis Hyatt.
