Mrs. Donna Beasley

Mrs. Donna Lynn Hancock Beasley, age 58, of Franklin passed away February 27, 2019.

Funeral services for Mrs. Beasley will be conducted Saturday March 2, 2019 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Stutts Funeral Home with the Rev. Norm Goss officiating. Interment will follow in Heard County Memorial Gardens.

The family will accept guests at Stutts Funeral Home Saturday afternoon from 12:00 – 2:00 PM prior to the service.

Mrs. Beasley was born May 4, 1960 in Newnan to the late Harold Edward Hancock and Ruby Clair Flowers. She was a Baptist by faith.

She worked at the Ford Motor Company Hapeville Plant on the assembly line before the plant closed.

One of her favorite pastimes was working in her garden. In earlier years she earned an associate degree in landscaping. She put her skills to good use raising beautiful flowers as well as any master gardener could.

She also enjoyed going fishing and taking trips to the beach. She loved to take pictures to preserve every precious moment with her family.

Mrs. Beasley was an all-around wonderful person with a big heart. A good neighbor, she would help anyone in their time of need. She was a fighter with a lot of spunk. This trait endeared her to everyone who met her, so she never met a stranger.

She held a special place in her heart for her family and her dog, Ares. She was the best wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend anyone could ask for.

Survivors include her husband, James Beasley of Franklin; one daughter, Jennifer Pitts of Franklin; one son, Jeremy Pitts of Franklin; one grandchild, Ayden Pitts of Franklin; four sisters, Vicki Winkles (Tommy) of Sharpsburg, Tracey Hancock of Newnan, Janet Larsen (Hans) of Palmetto, and Dawn Henson (J.W.) of Newnan; three brothers, Rick Hancock of Sharpsburg, Jeff Hancock (Jill) of Sharpsburg, and Kevin Davis of Franklin; and a number of other relatives and friends.
