Mrs. Donna J. Forbus

Forbus ObitMrs. Donna J. Nixon Forbus, 54, of LaGrange, passed away Friday, September 4, 2015 at her residence.

Mrs. Forbus was born October 4, 1960 in LaGrange the daughter of the late Johnny Clifford Nixon Sr. and Mrs. Patsy Perry Allen of LaGrange.

She was a member of Three Life Church and was involved in all church activities and volunteered to help whenever and wherever she could for the church.

She loved spending time on Facebook, Instagram and other sites to stay involved and in touch with all her friends and family. She also loved taking cruises, cooking and caring on conversations with anyone, and she never met a stranger.

Survivors include her daughters, Krissy and Don Nelms of Franklin, Mia and Roger McLendon of Newnan, and Ashley and Randy Combs of Tyrone, step-sons, Kevin and Keith Forbus of Franklin, her mother, Patsy Perry Allen, sisters, brothers, Johnny Clifford Nixon Jr. and Charles and Katrina Nixon, all of LaGrange, a sister, Kim and Tim Todd, 20 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, sister-in-laws, Deborah Richardson and Kathy and Eric Slauson.

She was preceded in death by her father and her husband, Larry Forbus.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at Three Life Church Rev. Josh Rhye and Rev. Randy Rhye officiating. Burial will follow in Meadoway Gardens.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 1:00 P.M. til 3:00 P.M. at the church.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made in memory of Donna to Three Life Church, 3472 Hogansville, Road, LaGrange, Georgia 30241.
