Mrs. Cole was born April 8, 1919, and lived a full life of 97 years. She was a native of Randolph County, Alabama, the third of 10 children born to the late Noah Lee Folds and Lizzie Daniel Folds.

She married the love of her life, Robert “Bob” S. Cole, August 31, 1946. He passed away in 1988. Her family was her world, and her front porch was always a welcome place for all. She always had a positive outlook on life, and it was said that she never had time to be sad.

She was a faithful member of Antioch Baptist Church, and attended every day she was able. One of her favorite pastimes was baking. She loved to visit others in the community and share her cheese straws and delicious fried pies. She also enjoyed quilting, and made quilts with the local quilting ladies on many occasions.
