Mrs. Henri Ella Arrington Hamil, age 67 of Franklin, Georgia passed away at her home one Monday, February 18, 2013.
Funeral services for Mrs. Hamil were conducted on Friday, February 22, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. from the El Bethel Baptist Church with the Reverends Gary Farlow and Randall Dunlap officiating. The eulogy was presented by Nephew, Buddy Reneau, and a moving letter written by Mrs. Hamil’s son, Timmy was read by granddaughter-in-law, Courtney Hamil.
The interment followed in the Franklin City Cemetery. Music was provided by Sherri Cagey and Dennis Pike. Those serving as pallbearers were Buddy Reneau, Doug Walker, Randy Garrett, Chuck Thompson, Doc Davis, and Jerome Harris.
Honorary pallbearers were Criss Langsotn, Landon Holliday, Hayden Holliday, Lee Holliday, T. J. Hamil, and Doyle Garrett.
In lieu of flowers, it was Mrs. Hamil’s request to have donations made to the El Bethel Baptist Church at P.O. Box 873, Franklin, Georgia 30217.
Mrs. Hamil was born on July 25, 1945, the daughter of the late Jimmie Mac Heard Arrington and Henry Morgan Arrington. She was a much loved and respected business woman in Heard County where she was well known for her wonderful gift of Hair Dressing.
For many years she assisted the retired people at the Franklin Manor Apartment s with tender and respectful care. For the last five years she had worked for Heard County in the Tax Commissioner’s office.
Miss Ella was most loved for her kind, gentle spirit and her tremendous love for her Lord. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by one daughter, Cindy and Bobby Mathews of Franklin, GA.; one son Timmy Hamil of Franklin, GA.; one sister, Jane Mojica of Marietta, GA.; one brother, John Kugler of Carrollton, GA.; four grandchildren, Amy Holliday (Lee)of Franklin, GA., Brandy Parmer (Tommy) of Franklin, GA., Criss Langston (Lanie) of Franklin, GA., and T. J. Hamil (Courtney) of Franklin Springs, GA.; four great-grandchildren, Shae, Landon, Austin, and Hayden.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved son, Gregory Morgan Hamil.
