Mrs. Lovie Elizabeth Nixon

Mrs. Lovie Elizabeth Nixon, 82, of Franklin, formerly of LaGrange, passed away Friday, April 15, 2016 at the Colonel Guest House in Franklin, Ga, where she lived for the past fifteen years.

Lovie was born January 15, 1934, the loving daughter of Will R. and Fannie M. Crenshaw Redden.

She is survived by sons, William Dan ( Paul Moss) Nixon of Newnan, Georgia, Tim O. (Connie B.) Nixon of LaGrange; grandchildren, Jake Nixon of Hermitage, Tennessee, Kynsley Nixon of LaGrange; sisters, Annie Self of Macon, Georgia and Lorraine Godfrey of Acworth, Georgia.

Lovie was preceded in death by her husband William B. Nixon, parents, brothers, W.R. Redden, Gordon Redden, Hugh Redden; sisters, Betty Gravitt and Ruby Redden.

A graveside service was held in Mrs. Lovie Elizabeth Nixon’s honor Saturday, April 16, 2016, at Rest Lawn Memorial Gardens, LaGrange.
