Mrs. Margie Moon Hendrix, 65, of Franklin, died Sunday, January 5, 2014, at Kindred Hospital in Rome.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 8, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville.
The Reverend Milton Hall, the Reverend Jesse Hughes, the Reverend Jim Harmon and the Reverend Scott Rice will officiate and the interment will be in the Corinth Cemetery.
Mrs. Hendrix was born June 13, 1948, in Newnan, daughter of the late Andrew Sanford Moon and Eunice Irene Robinson Moon.
A resident of Franklin for the past ten years, she lived in Coweta County most of her life, was employed at Beaulieu Convalescent Center for a number of years, and was a member of Corinth Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Roger Hendrix of Franklin; son and daughter in-law, Tim and Sherry Hayes of Luthersville; step-children, Douglas Hendrix of Franklin, Christopher Hendrix, Scott Hendrix and Page Kennedy all of Newnan, Sherrie Hendrix of Fayetteville, Rhonda Hendrix of Griffin; sisters, Betty Jean Presley of Franklin and Judy Moon of Bowdon; grandchildren, Matthew Lee Peppers, Shannon Davis, Kristen Norris, Shane Phillips; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her daughters, Teresa Ann Hayes and Tina Denise Hayes Peppers; granddaughter, Brandi LeeAnn Peppers; sisters, Kathy Diane Moon and Irene Spradlin; and nephew, Mark Presley.
