Mrs. Peggy Jennings

Tosha ObitThe Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Peggy Turman Hendrick Jennings of Franklin will be Saturday, September 19, 2015 at 3:00PM at the Mount Carrie Baptist Church, Victory Road in Franklin.

Dr. W. T. Edmondson will officiate. Burial will be in the Stateline Baptist Church Cemetery in Glenn.

Mrs. Jennings, a native of Franklin, was born May 8, 1948 and was the daughter of the late Minnie Pearl Green and Ernest Turman.

Survivors include her loving husband, Hollis Jennings; daughter, Tosha (Leo) Glover, Powder Springs, GA; son-in-law, Willie Boykin, Franklin, GA; one grandson, Demarcus Hendrick, Powder Springs; one great-grandson, Kai Isaiah Hendrick; two step-children: Jasmine Jennings and Nicholas Miles, Raleigh, NC; mother-in-law, Virginia Jennings; brothers-in-law: Nigel Jennings and James Parker; sister-in-law, Pamela Cosby; sisters, Brenda Turman, LaGrange; Louise Bradfield, Franklin; Shirlely Carter, Columbus, GA; Mary Dukes, Flint, MI; six brothers, Horace Turman and Jeffery Green, both of Franklin; Lonzell Turman, LaGrange; Walter Turman, Atlanta; Ernest Turman, Sharpsburg, GA; Walter (Dorthy) LaGrange; many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Debra Boykin; and six siblings: Betty Jean Turman, Lillie Mae Phillips, Johnny B. Turman, L. C. Turman, Robert Person, and Jelloro Burden.

The family will be at their home at 898 Doc Fisher Road in Franklin.
