Mrs. Gullatt was born September 20, 1949 in Carroll County, Georgia, the daughter of the late Clifton Madison Nix and Christine Williamson Nix.

She was a faithful attender of the Ephesus Christian Church.

For many years she was a dedicated dental assistant. Her fun loving personality made even going to the dentist a pleasant experience.

Even though she enjoyed working in the dental field she felt that the needs of her family required her being a stay at home mom. She tackled being a home school teacher for her youngest son and enjoyed the special time she had with him.

Even though there was rarely time she loved horseback riding, but her very favorite hobby was shopping yard sales for beautiful antiques to add to her collection. She was a wonderful wife and mother. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Funeral services for Mrs. Gullatt were conducted Monday June 22, 2015 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Tom Stutts & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Tim Cook officiating. Music was provided by Ricky Gore.

Those serving as pallbearers were Robert Codner, Zackary Daniell, Tyler Levens, Rick Gore, James Wesley Noles, and Chris Levens. The interment followed in the Lowell United Methodist Church Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Gullatt of Franklin, GA.; two daughters: Kelli Daniel (Mel) also of Franklin, GA. and Tara Shultz (Jim) of Birmingham, AL.; two sons: Ken Daniell (Connie) of St. Marks, FL. and Travis Gullatt of Franklin, GA; one sister, Jana Edge of Ephesus, GA.; and a number of other relatives and friends.
