Mrs. Syble Warren

Mrs. Syble Ann Lewis Warren, age 74 of Carrollton, Georgia, known to those who loved her as the Queen of Clem, passed away on August 16, 2017 at her residence.

She was born May 30, 1943 in Carrollton, Georgia, the daughter of the late James Elbert Lewis and the late Nannie Estelle Clark Lewis.

She retired after 30 years from the Carrollton School System and was a member of the Clem United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters: Garrie Lee McLamb, Edna Mae Johnson, Nadine Cole, and Odell Collins and two brothers: Jack Lewis and Olin Lewis.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Doyal Jerry Warren; daughter and son-in-law, Melissa & Dennis Buchanan of Franklin; brother, Floyd Lewis of Carrollton; two special nieces: Ann (Randy) Clark of Franklin and Sue (Randy) Huckeba of Carrollton; and several other nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, August 18, 2017 at 3:00 PM from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Bryan officiating.

Interment will follow in the Clem United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Those serving as pallbearers will be Shane Bass, Randy Clark, Randy Huckeba, Don Bass, Jason Norman, Robin Swanger, Tracy McIntosh, and Steve Smith. Forrest Bates will be seated as a honorary pallbearer.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, August 17, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
