Mrs. Willene Holtzclaw

Mrs. Willene Holloway Holtzclaw, age 85 of Franklin, Georgia passed away at the Carrollton Manor Nursing Home in Carrollton, Georgia on December 11, 2012.

Funeral services for Mrs. Holtzclaw were conducted on Friday, December 14, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. from the Franklin First Baptist Church at 2:00 P.M. with the Reverends Scott Hannah and Franklin Treadwell officiating.

The interment  followed in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Newnan, Georgia. Music was provided by Mark Lyle. Those serving as pallbearers were Bart Hannah, Shane Wright, Jake Foster, Casy Barnes, Clay Holtzclaw, and Dave Galinda.

Mrs. Holtzclaw was born in Grantville, Georgia on July 22, 1927, the daughter of the late Emma Treadwell Holloway and Luby Forrest Holloway. She was a member of the Franklin First Baptist Church and a former seamstress at the Baby Cloze Manufacturing Company.

“Mrs. Willene” was a diehard Elvis Pressley fan. Her favorite times were spent with her family at the lake. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by three daughters, Karen and Gary Wright of Roopville, GA., Sherrie and Wesley Noles of Roopville, GA., and Florrie and Eddie Barnes of Franklin, GA.; one son, Tim and Sandra Holtzclaw of Franklin, GA.; one brother, Melvin Holloway of Newnan, GA.; eleven grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
