Ms. Danielle Marie Yates

Danielle YatesMiss Danielle Marie Yates, 16-years-old, of  Franklin, Georgia died August 30, 2013.

Miss Yates was born in Carrollton, Georgia on August 31, 1996 the daughter of Thomas William Ellington and Shari Michelle Sharpe Bennett.

She was a student at West Georgia Technical College and loved fashion and the arts. 

Surviving are her mother and step-father, Shari Michelle and John Bennett of Franklin, father and step mother Thomas and Christina Ellington of Carrollton, sister, Kaylene Diaz of Carrollton, maternal grandfather, Bill Sharpe of Villa Rica, step maternal grandmother, Brenda Bennett of Roanoke, Alabama, paternal grandparents, Jim and Karen Ellington of Twin Falls, Idaho, paternal step grandmother Lavonne Yates of Roopville, aunts, Rachael Sharpe of Roswell, Sarah Sharpe of Fairburn, uncles, Tim Yates of Tallapoosa, Travis Yates of Carrollton, and  Toby Yates, of Enfield, CT., great grandmother, Rosemary Hancock and maternal great great grandmother, Isabelle Reid both of Indianapolis, IN, great grandparents, Jim and Judy Stephenson of  N. Fort Myers, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Amy Yates, maternal grandmother Jenny Sharp, great grandmothers, Donna Stephenson and Edith Marie Yates.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 4, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Almon Funeral Home with Pastor Adam Lee officiating. Interment will follow in Carroll Memory Gardens. Pallbearers include, Tim Yates, Travis Yates, Tim Lee, Christopher Yates, Timothy Yates and Wendell Brown, III.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

  4. I always remember Danielle as such a sweet little girl. I was one of her teachers at Meme’s Stay and Play. She was pure joy to spend time with. I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends. God has wrapped his arms around her in heaven.
