Ms. Ellen Pike

Ms. Ellen Pike, of Hogansville, passed away on June 11, 2020.

She was born in Hogansville on August 24, 1951 to the late Garnette Pike and Artie “Art” Skipper Pike.

She graduated from Heard County High School in 1969 and then retired from OMC following a lengthy career.

Ms. Pike is survived by her daughters, Tracey Gay Hunt (Todd) and Amanda Anderson (Zach); her grandchildren, Phillip “Davey” Hunt (Sascha), Jonathon Todd Hunt (Chloe), Kayden Anderson, and Kohen Anderson; her siblings, Kathleen Ring (David), Annette Fincher (Larry), Arlene Wade (Mark), Hank Pike (Beth); her sister-in-love, Joann Paschal.

A memorial service celebrating Ms. Pike’s life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at Hunter-Allen-Myhand Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from noon until service time on Saturday. Pastor Benji Dukes will officiate the service.

A private commital service will be held at a later date.

Ms. Ellen Pike’s ashes will be laid to rest at Meadoway Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Heard High School girl’s basketball program. Please mail donations to Heard County High School, 545 Main St., Franklin, GA 30217.

Hunter-Allen-Myhand Funeral Home of Lagrange, GA is in charge of the arrangements.
