Ms. Fannie Ruth Capers

The Celebration of Life Service for Ms. Fannie Ruth Capers will be Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at 2:00PM at the Stateline Baptist Church in Glenn. Dr. W. T. Edmondson will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Ms. Capers, a native of Heard County, was born January 11, 1949 and was the daughter of Mrs. Aggie Ruth Boykin Capers and the late Mr. Buster Capers. She was a 1967 graduate of Mary Johnson High School.

She previously worked as a secretary at East Depot School and as manager of Mary Cotton Nursery. She joined the Stateline Baptist Church early in her life.

She leaves to cherish her memories, two daughters: Crystal and Cricket Thomas; three granddaughters: Cristasia Harris and Christy and Chistoria Thomas; her mother, Mrs. Aggie Ruth Capers; four sisters: Rubie (Ernest) Freeman, Abbottsford; Estelle Cato, LaGrange; Rosemary Hollingsworth, Franklin; Janice Reyes, LaGrange; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by twin brothers: Willie James and Willie Gene Capers; and Jerry Lee Capers; and a special friend, Willie E. Thomas.

The family will be at their home at 931 Greenville Street, Lagrange and will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6 until 7 PM.
