New Queens Crowned at Heard Elementary Fall Pageant

The Heard Elementary Fall Beauty Pageant was held Saturday night and the theme this year was “Cinderella.”

The proceeds from the event which was organized by Ms. Wylene Spearman went to support Heard County Special Olympics.

The judges for the pageant were Ms. Tamyra Jackson, Ms. Jennifer Jones, and Ms. Valencia Lewis and their job was a difficult one as all 53 girls that competed were worthy of being queens.

Entertainment for the event was provided by several Heard County dance students. Brittany Witcher, Katy Stutts, Lexi Emory, and Hannah Rogers performed an entertaining contemporary dance number and Amber Banks did a very energetic “Elvis” dance routine.

Following them was Madelyn Rusinyak with a clogging exhibition and finally Alexis Nelms and Emmy Harrod performed a dance duet. All of these performances were met with lots of applause from the audience.

In the main event of the evening, the Queen winners were Tiny Miss Heard Elementary Alexandria Brewer (Pre-K), Little Miss Heard Elementary Laci Ann Watts (K-1st grade) , Junior Miss Heard Elementary Peyton Anne Skipper (2nd-3rd grade), and Miss Heard Elementary Jacqueline Lania Marie Kersey(4th-5th grade).

Congrats to all the winners of this event which raised money for such a great cause!
