Online Absentee Ballot Application Now Active!

(Franklin, GA) — Voters may now apply for an absentee ballot on-line.

If you wish to receive an absentee ballot for the November 3, 2020 General Election, you may go the following web site:

To be able to apply for a ballot online you must provide the following information:

1: First and last name as registered to vote

2: Date of Birth

3: Georgia Drivers License Number or Identification Card Number

4: County of Residence

If you input this information into the web site, but get an error message, it could be for one of the following reasons:

1: Your drivers license or identification card number is not on file with the Elections Office.

2: There is a discrepancy with your name or date of birth as it is recorded on your voter registration information.

3: You have moved from another county and have not updated your address.

4: You are not registered to vote.

If for some reason you can not use the web site to apply for a ballot, you may download and print an application from the following site:

Also, if you could not use the web site to apply for a ballot, it is VERY important that you check your voting status.

The registration deadline for the General Election is October 5, 2020.

The last day to apply for an absentee ballot is October 30, 2020. However, you are encouraged to apply for your ballot as soon as possible.
