PruittHealth Honors Volunteers At Appreciation Ceremony

(Franklin/Times~Journal) — A wonderful ceremony and luncheon was held for the many volunteers that give their time to the residents of PruittHealth of Franklin on Thursday, April 14 at 2:30 pm.

The ceremony began with prayer led by Sheila Moody, Director of Healthcare Services. Praise-Him Ministries provided music for the event.

Guest Speaker for the luncheon was Rev. Lowingston Jackson from Total Faith Church Missionary Church of God in Luthersville Georgia. Jackson praised the volunteers for the work they do for the Lord.

A lunch was provided for the volunteers, prepared by Cloyce Tucker, Dietary Manager with the help of Laura O’Neal and Patricia Nunn Dietary Aids of PruittHealth Franklin .

Valeria King, Recreation Services Director presented awards at the special ceremony honoring each volunteer for their outstanding commitment.

Among the recipients were: Rev. E. L. Jimmerson, Praise-Him Ministries, Rev. Joe Pope, Rev. Lowingston Jackson, Franklin Church of God, Ms. Betty Joy, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints- Elder Harris & Elder Taloa, Light-House of Praise Deliverance Tabernacle- Elder Carlton Clark & Minister Brenda Clark, Jacqueline Jones Ministries, First Baptist Church of Franklin, Mr. Willie & Mrs. Eva Davis, The Rescue Team, Bethel Heard Church, Mr. Mike Nolley, Mr. Harvell Smith, Minister Keith Lewis, Heard County Girl Scouts Troop Leader Georgia Parker, Mrs Floyce Kilby, James Stewart Chapter of DAR, UDC, Ridgeway Baptist Church, New Hope, Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Mr. Andy Gosnell, Christ Like Ministries and Mr. David Pope.

Mrs. King thanked the volunteers for coming. She stated, “ I won’t go around the room telling of all the great things you all do because we just would not have enough time because it is so very much, I appreciate each and every one of you. Also I can not say enough about the girls in Dietary as well as Becky South, Assistant Director of Health Services for all that they do. I appreciate them so much.”

Tamika Omodara, PriuttHealth Administrator closed the special ceremony by thanking everyone for coming also for all they do, it really makes a difference.
