Three bags of suspected Methamphetamine were found on his person. Upon being placed inside a Patrol vehicle, Broach advised Deputies that he “need(ed) to ‘Burp’ the ‘Brain’ of (his) meth lab, before it blows up”.

Troup County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Investigators notified the Troup County Fire Department, as to the seriousness of the situation, and requested their assistance. Drug Unit Agents located three “Brains” and released the gases from their containers.

The rolling meth lab was dismantled at the scene, due to the risk of a possible fire and/or explosion while being transported. A fire started by one of the containers being dismantled was quickly contained and extinguished without further incident, by the Troup County Fire Department.
