(Franklin) — A fraud education and protection program for senior citizens will be hosted by Franklin Police Department and Southern Crescent Area Agency on Aging.
With a large amount of scams now focusing on seniors, this training is designed to protect you against becoming a victim.
Learn about the newest and most common scams targeting seniors, steps to restore your credit if you become a victim, how to identify elder abuse, internet safety, and many more important topics.
Guest speakers from Regions Bank, Certus Bank, and Hayes Computer Services will also be present to provide information regarding this growing problem.
