Sheriff Henry honors employee Veterans

(Franklin, GA) — Heard County Sheriff Ross Henry and staff recently recognized its Veterans.

A display was set up in the sheriff’s office lobby which was decorated with red, white and blue and flags.

The display contained a military photograph of each employee who has served in the military.

Currently employed with the Heard County Sheriff’s Office are four full-time deputies, one part-time deputy, one detention officers and one nurse who are military veterans.

Several of these veterans were treated to a meal at the O’Charley’s restaurant in Carrollton in honor of their service to our great country.

“On behalf of myself and the staff of the Heard County Sheriff’s Office, we would like to thank our veterans for their loyal and dedicated service to our great country and for their continued service to Heard County. We also want to thank all veterans who have and who continue to protect our freedoms,” Sheriff Henry stated this week.
