Special Olympics State Winter Games

Pictured above are some of the athletes and adult chaperones. They are holding signs prepared by “Fans in the Stands”, our high school support group.

Heard County Special Olympics athletes attended State Winter Games in Marietta and brought home many medals and  a fourth place ribbon. The event took place in January. Winners were as follows:
